Hansford & Julia Ann Cooper ..." Signed by T. Stinchcomb. Since the marriage bond for this marriage was executed in mid-December 1837, it is likely that the marriage itself occurred later that same month. - [S1654] Harrison County Marriage Records, Clarksburg, WV, Marriage Bonds, Bk 6, p. 25.
Marriage bond for forthcoming marriage of David W. Hansford & Julia Ann Cooper was executed between David W. Hansford and Walter Ebert, relationship to the bride not indicated. There are two entries for this marriage. In the first, the parties are identified as D. W. Hansford, 34, res. Doddridge Co, and Sarah A. Hinton, 24, res. Doddridge Co; married Nov 2? 1851. In the second, they are identified as David W. Hansford & Sarah Ann Hinton, married Jan 4 1852. It is likely the first entry pertains to the marriage bond, and the second to the marriage itself. - [S1590] Death record of daughter.
