(Note: "Davis - The Settlers of Salem WV," p. 70, lists three children for John & Phoebe Davis Bonnell: Pedora Davis (b. Apr 6 1846), Fodesa Bonnell (no birth date given), and Isabel Bonnell (no birth date). Based on this Census, the first two children were likely the same person. It is noted that Phedora was born two years before her parents' marriage, and thus had her mother's surname. Phedora's death record identifies her parents as John Bonnell and Pheba Davis.)
