At his death, there being no children, it was found that his will made bequests to the Reformed Church at Bedminster of $2,000 and a similar bequest to the American Bible Society and the Boards of Domestic Mission and Education of the Reformed Church in America, while the remainder (about $35,000) was willed to the Board of Foreign Missions of the same denomination.
