Herman B. Davis, 59, b. Jan 1841, farmer, married 37 yrs; wife Elizabeth V. Davis, 58, b. Jan 1842, married 37 yrs, mother of 5 children (all still living); son-in-law Alonzo G. Bartlett, 37, b. Nov 1862, farmer, married 13 yrs; dau Ida A. Bartlett, 33, b. Jun 1866, married 13 yrs, mother of 1 child (still living); grandson Ainsly B. Bartlett, 11, b. Sep 1888. All born in West Virginia.
In the 1910 Census of Clarksburg, Harrison Co WV, Alonzo was listed as Alonzo G. Bartlett, 44, department store salesman, married 20 yrs, one of several "roomers" at Kessler Hospital. We have found no subsequent record of him. He is not to be confused with the Alonzo Bartlett (1863-1934, son of Frank Bartlett & Nancy J. Davis) who married Jacqueline Estella "Ella" Barbee in 1884 and is buried in Bluemont Cemetery, Grafton.
No record of Ida M. (Davis) Bartlett has been found in the 1910 and 1920 censuses.
In 1930 and 1940, Ida was living alone on Prospect Street in the city of Salem, Harrison CoWV, age 62/72, widowed. [4]
