      Identified as Lemuel Furr & Mary A. Cain. Marriage date is shown in digital image of the marriage record as being in March 1832, exact date illegible. The March 26th date reported here is taken from Wes Cochran's "Lewis County WV Marriages 1817-1880," p. 12, presumably based on personal inspection of the original marriage document. However, that same source incorrectly reports the couple's names as Samuel Furr and Mary S. Cain, clearly at variance from the original.
