"Mrs. W. S. Stuart has completed the brick basement and cement floor of the fine residence she will erect next summer. So far 30,000 bricks of large size (10 lbs each) have been used."

"Mrs. Nannie Stuart is pushing the work on her new residence on Chancery Hill. Four brick layers are at work finishing up the basement above ground, and several carpenters are at work putting in the sleepers for the first floor. The building will consist of a basement finished under the entire building, two stories, and a finished attic. The whole will have from 25 to 30 rooms when finished, with several porches, and will be one of the largest and finest dwelling houses in this section of the state."
