      Identified as Silas O. Jones, 27, single, farmer, b. Virginia, res. Doddridge Co, son of Thomas & Catharine Jones; and Hannah S. Armstrong, 22, single, b. Maryland, res. Marshall Co, dau of John M. & Ann M. Armstrong. Married Oct 22 1868 in Moundsville. NOTE: A second marriage record, in the form of a ledger entry (p. 24), provides the identical information with the one exception that the husband's mother's name is given as Caroline rather than Catharine. But his death record identifies mother as Catherine Smith, so Caroline is presumed to have been a clerical error.
