    Notes
    • Resided in 1660 at Gravesend, Long Island, NY. Possibly resided earlier at Mespath Colony on English Kill, LI, NY with Rev. Francis Doughty, who died in Virginia. On 3/17/1680, he purchased from Isaac Deschamps, a merchant of NYC, a 2-acre home lot, a 40-acre farm lot and four meadows in Bedford. He built a house and resided there. He bequeathed his estate by will dated 9/26/1683 "to his children" but did not name them. But Thomas and Jasper were the two sons, as they subsequently conveyed the same property to another in 1696.
