      Walter Dotson, 42, b. Mar 1858 in WVa, farmer, married 15 yrs; wife Olive, 34, b. Mar 1866 in Va, married 15 yrs, mother of one child (still living); dau Nellie, 13, b. Jan 1887 in Va.
      (NOTE: The next enumerated household was that of Olive's parents, Joshua and Mary Wilson. The stated birthplaces are reversed from what would be correct. All were born in present-day West Virginia. Since Walter's birth was before the June 1863 statehood, he was technically born in Virginia, while the other two were born in West Virginia.)
