LOCAL TEACHER WINS PRAISE
Superintendent Carpenter, who had charge of the beginners section, gave many valuable suggestions along the lines of promoting the interests of this work, and of contracting and keeping records. He introducted Mrs. Ethel Hall West, the teacher of the primary department of the West Union school, to this section, and she, out of the abundance of her experience, proved to be helpful, indeed, to these young teachers. And so appreciative were they of her helpfulness, that her daily arrival at these meetings was greeted with loud applause.
