Sutton's excavation unearthed several girant skeletons measuring over seven feet in height, and well as a quantity of ancient artifacts. On 9 July 1930, the Smithsonian Institution recorded a donation from Ernest Sutton and Oris Stutler of three artifacts found in that dig.
