      Identified as Wilbert C. Spurgeon, born in 1895, son of J. I. & Flora Spurgeon; died Dec 1899 (day not given) at Bear Fork, age 3 yr 6 mo, cause of death "burned." Informant: J. I. Spurgeon, father. (Note: The accuracy of this entry in the ledger-style death record is questionable. There are several discrepancies between the death record and the headstone, which shows his middle name as Kline and his death date as Jan 5 1900. The birth date appears to be Jul 3 1896, which would then make his age 3 yr 6 mo. No birth record was found for him.)
