    • The death date on his headstone is incorrectly given as 1910. His death record shows that he died on Oct 10 1911, and his wife Bridget filed for a widow's pension on Nov 9 1911. But "Doddridge County Cemeteries" (Vol I, p. 5) reports that his obituary, in the Oct 20 1911 issue of the West Union Record, states that he died on Oct 11 1911.
