      Identified as Ray Stealey, 21, b. Marion Co, res. Clarksburg, son of J. I. S. & Susan Stealey (foster parents); and Elizabeth Virginia Bland, 21, b. Doddridge Co, res. Harrison Co, dau of Geo. W. & Lucia C. Bland. Married Mar 21 1918 at the Stealey Heights M. E. Church. (Note: This is the only instance we have found of Elizabeth's middle name being anything other than Lucia. Her birth record identifies her only as Elizabeth Bland. She appeared without her husband as Elizabeth B. Stealey, married, in her parents' household in the 1930 Census. The name on her headstone reads "Elizabeth Lucia Bland," implying that she was not married at the time of her 1959 death. Ray Stealey died in 1964.)
