      Doddridge County Birth Records, Bk 1, p 28, show birth date as Feb 2 1866. But headstone has it Feb 22 1866, as does marriage record. The latter two are considered more reliable, especially since the birth records existing for that time frame are typed transcriptions of the original handwritten entries, making typographical errors more likely.
