    • Some genealogies include as a child of James Elmore Snider and Virginia Ellen McKinley another daughter, Mary F. Snider, born Nov 1864, died Sep 1866, buried at Childers Cemetery. Her headstone states that she was a daughter of J. & V. E. Snider. But that child's death record identifies her parents as Jehu & Virginia E. Snider. That would be John "Jehu" Snider and Virginia E. Apsey, also of New Milton.
