"Aunt Peggy Stuart died at her home near Romines Mills last Sunday night. She was the mother of the late distinguished Judge Chapman Stuart. Her husband Edward Stuart was a man widely known in his day. Several children were born to them, all of whom have died except Mrs. Hanna Criss who resided near the old home. Aunt Peggy died the very hour she attained her ninety-sixth birthday. Everyone for miles around was familiarly acquainted with her, and a large crowd attended the funeral on Monday."
