      There are several discrepancies on this headstone, the name on which is "F. E., Wife of A. J. Martin." The inscribed birth date is May 28 1868, but the date in her birth record is Apr 25 1868. The inscribed age, 28y 8m 3d, computes to a birth date of May 29 1866, corresponding to neither of the foregoing dates. It should be noted, however, that the ledger-style birth record is a typed transcription of the original, leaving open the possibility of a clerical error.
