  Notes	John McCullough NEWELL - John C. McCullough, 89, of Jefferson Street in Newell, died on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. He was born on Aug. 17, 1918, in Ritchie County, W.Va. He was a son of the late Samuel and Alda A. Meredith McCullough. John retired from Ohio Brass in Newell where he last worked as a foreman. A veteran of the Army Air Corps, he was a member of the Newell Nazarene Church. His wife, Gertrude V. McCullough, preceded him in death. Survivors include his sister, Edith Doak of Pennsboro, W. Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Pastor Everett Clay of the church will conduct services on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester where the family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens on Newell.
