"Mrs. Mary Costilow died June 17 1915 at the home of her son-in-law Mr. John Wells on Doe Run, aged 66 years. Her husband Mr. C. D. Costilow having preceeded her in death three years ago. She is the mother of eleven children, seven of whom survive.
She joined the Baptist church when 13 years old. Rev. J. D. Runkle of the local Baptist church conducted the services at the Wells home. Interment was in the old cemetery east of town in charge of C. B. Pease, funeral director."

"Death of Mrs. Mary Costilo
Mrs. Mary Costilo, widow of the late Jack Costilo, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Wells of Doe Run at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 17th.
The funeral services were conducted at the home of Mrs. Wells at 3 o'clock p.m. Friday, June 18th, by Rev. J. D. Runkle of the Baptist church.
The interment was at the West Union cemetery in charge of C. S. Pease, funeral director.

"Mrs. Mary Costilo Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. Mary Costilo, aged 66 years, died Thursday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter Mrs. John Wells.
Mrs. Costilo had been sick for a number of years. Her husband Jack Costilo died about 3 years ago.
Mrs. Costilo is survived by the following children: Sanford, James, Richard, Joseph, Lafe, Bruce and Mrs. Lizzie Wells.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. John D. Runkle at the house Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment was in the local cemetery in charge of Funeral Director Carl S. Pease."
