Since her husband is known from his death record to be buried in the West Union IOOF cemetery, it is reasonable to assume that she was buried there as well. However, readings of that cemetery have failed to locate a headstone for either of them. Informant for her death record was her grandson William Cain.

      Josephus died in 1903. In the 1910 Census, Sarah was enumerated in the household of her married daughter Mary Cain and her family. [6]
