    The parents of Earl Douglas(s) are listed on his death record as John Douglas and Margaret Hickman. But John M. Douglass died in 1872, ten years before Earl's birth. Margaret died in 1893 when Earl was age 9. No entry for him was found in the 1900 Census, and no clues have surfaced regarding his actual biological father.
