    The birthdate of May 8 1894 is reflected in his birth records and in the Social Security Death Index, and the 1900 Census also reports his birthdate as May 1894. But his headstone reads "1893-1970," and his obituary states that he was born on May 8 1893 and died on Mar 7 1970 at age 77, yet another inconsistency.
