Event Notes
Note (1) Birthplace given as Tyler County in 1880 marriage record, but as Doddridge
County in 1900 marriage record, and as West Union (Doddridge Co) in death
record.  Age given at both marriages would reflect a birth year of about 1844,
and 1900 Census also gives his birth date as Feb 1844.  But age 78y7m given in
death record would result in a birth date of Feb 21 1843.  The death
certificate, however, does specify a birth date of Feb 22 1843.
