But he was age 1 in the 1870 Census and age 31 in the 1900 Census, with birth date given as Feb 1869. Note (2) Birth date given in death record as Aug 20 1862, age 85y 9m 5d. But this is inconsistent with all other records, including the 1900 Census in which her birthdate is given as Aug 1874, age 25. Her headstone gives only her death date. Note (3) Age 21 at time of 1932 marriage would put birth in about 1911, but he appeared in the 1910 Census, age 3. His delayed birth record, filed in 1963 on affidavit of his cousin Luther M. Perine and, states that he was born on July 31 1906. Birth date on his headstone is 1908. Note (4) Age 6 in 1920 Census and age 15 in 1930 Census would put birth in about between 1913 and 1915. But marriage record states birth date as Jun 10 1918.
