Note (1) Birthplace given as Germany in marriage record, but Austria in 1880 and 1900
Census.  Age 25 in 1880 Census would put birth in about 1855, while age 35 in
Sep 1892 marriage record puts it in about 1856/57.  But the 1900 Census shows it
as Oct 1850, and age 64y 11m 8d specified in his obituary puts his birth date at
Oct 15 1850.
