Event Notes Note (1) Age 14 given in 1880 Census would put birth date in about 1866 (same as half-brother Andrew in the same census), and age 63 in 1930 Census would put it in about 1867. But her mother died before her father's remarriage in Sep 1865, and her birth date is given as Apr 17 1864 in both marriage record and death record, . Note (2) Obituary states birth date as Aug 31 1887, age 81. Note (3) The 1910 Census gives her age as 20, two years younger than her sister Laura, and four years older than her sister Kate. Note (4) Although the SSDI shows his birth date as Nov 19 1900, and his headstone also states 1900, his birth record shows his birth as Nov 19 1901. His military records also indicate Nov 19 1901 as his birth date. Note (5) James Wilson Hiley's name is incorrectly entered in the 1910 Census as George W. Hiley, age 9. He is listed in the 1920 and 1930 censuses as Wilson Hiley. The name George Hiley is not found in any other records pertaining to this family and is considered to be a clerical error. Has name appears on his headstone as Wilson Hiley.
