In the 1890 Veterans Schedule of Union District, Harrison County, his post office address was given as Big Isaac, Doddridge County. Note (2) His West Virginia Civil War medal is at the museum of the Doddridge County Historical Society. The military unit inscribed on it is "Co C, 10th Reg Inf Vol" Note (3) With his wife Altie (sic) listed in his parents household. Note (4) Birth date given in death record as Jan 25 1875. But age 35 in 1913 marriage record would put birth in about 1878, while age 45 in 1926 marriage record would put it in about 1881. The 1900 Census states his birth date as Jan 1878, age 22, and his World War I Draft Registration card specifies Jan 25 1878. Note (5) Birth date given in death record as Jun 20 1889.
