Event Notes
Note (1) Birth date given in obituary and death record as Dec 9 1840, but ages given
in censuses consistently put it in about 1842.
Note (2) In household with son Jesse and his wife.  When she died four years later,
Elizabeth Stevens Martin's obituary stated that she was the oldest woman in
Doddridge County.  Listed as flower girls at her funeral were Josephine Schmidt,
Ora Ball, Gladys Heflin and Betty Davisson.  Pallbearers were Charles Martin,
Gale Davisson, Dorsey Ball, Willis Davisson, Gentsel Kinney and Lacie Kinney.
