Event Notes
Note (1) As a wagon maker by trade, in the Revolutionary War he devoted his time to
building and repairing wagons for the Continental Army.  The same powder horn
used by Thomas Gaston in the Revolutionary War was later used by other family
member in the War of 1812 and in the Civil War.
Note (2) No grave marker except the engraved initials "T. G." on a field stone,
located next to the grave of James A. Gaston.
