Note (1) Jeffrey Wood reports birthdate as Dec 7 1839, while Tina Kutschbach states it
simply as 1838. Given the Jul 7 1840 birthdate of brother Alfred, Harriet's
birthdate is more likely Dec 7 1838 as we have it here.
