Event Notes
Note (1) In 1850, listed as William G. Russell, age 36, putting birth in about 1814. 
But in 1870, he was listed as William J. Russell, age 60, putting birth in about
1810.  Age 70 in the 1880 Census and age 76 in death record also put birth in
about 1810.  In the 1870 Census, the next enumerated household on one side was
that of James H. Russell, and on the other side was that of Williams Maxwell.
Note (2) In 1850, listed as Synthia Russell, age 35, putting birth in about 1815.  But
in 1860, listed as Cyntha Russell, ag 60, putting birth in about 1810.  Her
daughter's marriage record gives her name as Synthany, while her son's death
record has only the initial C.
Note (3) Age 10 in 1850 Census would put birth in about 1840, but age 18 in 1860 puts
it in about 1842.
Note (4) Age 10 in 1850 Census would put birth in about 1840, but age 18 in 1860 puts
it in about 1842.
Note (5) Age 12 in the 1860 Census would put birth in about 1848.  But age in marriage
