Event Notes
Note (1) Then entire family, John, his mother and his two brothers, all members of the
same household,  were incorrectly identified in the 1900 Census by the surname
Barnard.
Note (2) Birth date given in 1900 Census as July 1877.
Note (3) Birth date given in death record as 1880, age 67, and the 1900 Census does
show his birth date as Oct 1880, age 19.  But age 25, 38 and 45 in the 1910,
1920 and 1930 censuses would put birth between 1882 and 1885.
Note (4) Age in 1910 and 1920 censuses would put birth in about 1885.  But age in
marriage record would put it in about 1894, while death record states Jun 17
1882.  The 1900 Census shows his birth date as July 1882, age 17.
