Event Notes
Note (1) The 1900 Census indicates that he immigrated in 1867.  But Boston 1821-1850
Passenger and Immigration Lists states that he arrived at Boston from Liverpool
(place of origin Ireland) on Jul 15 1850 aboard the ship Grampian.  The 1900
Census shows that he was a naturalized citizen by that time.
Note (2) Birth date given in 1900 Census as Feb 1876.  But age 6 in 1880 Census puts
it in about 1874.
Note (3) Age in marriage record would put birth in about 1882, age in 1920 Census puts
it in about 1878, and 1900 Census shows it as Sep 1877, while WW II draft
registration states Aug 15 1884.
Note (4) Birth date given in 1900 Census as Oct 1879.  But he was not with family in
1880 Census.
