Note (1) Birth date on headstone is 1861.
Note (2) According to documents in her father's Civil War file, following his death
and the remarriage of her mother, Semantha (sic) Tucker, b. Oct 7 1862 (sic),
was made a ward of Charles C. Davis (1831-1910).  Relationship, if any, of
Charles C. Davis to the Tucker or Stout family is not known.
(NOTE:  Samantha Tucker's birth date is given in the 1900 Census as Oct 1863,
and the date on her headstone is also 1863.)
