Woofter, a prominent Weston physician, and vice president of the First National Bank of Weston, was killed by the local B. & O. train operated between Weston and the Fair Grounds at Bendale last Thursday. The aged physician was mingling with the crowd near the grounds and talking to friends, and failed to notice the train as it backed towards him."
