Her birth record shows that she was born in Leopold, Doddridge County, on Dec 21 1888. Her name in her birth record appears as Chincy, which is possibly a mistranscription from the original handwritten record to the typed ledger entry. Though the spelling Jensy is sometimes found, Jensey is the predominant form and is the spelling on her death record and headstone.
