Note (1) In wife's 1905 death record, she was listed by her maiden name and with
marital status single.  Informant was her father.
Note (2) Although Herman Merritt's birth record clearly shows his parents as Albert
Merritt and Rosa Sandy, it is documented in her death record and on her
headstone that Rosa Sandy Merritt died in 1905.
