Event Notes Note (1) Death record states death date as Aug 9 1941 at age 92y1m24d, with birth date stated as Jun 14 1849. But immediate family reports his death date as Aug 7 1941, which would also make the age conform with the birth date. Since the death record also states the date of his burial as Aug 8 1941, it is clear that the reported death date is incorrect and should be Aug 7 1941. Note (2) No headstone, but a small homemade wooden marker gives age at death as 92y 1m 24d. Note (3) Age 21 in marriage record puts birth in about 1852. But 1900 Census shows it as Apr 1848, while age 26 in 1880 Census puts it in about 1854. Note (4) Although birth date is shown in records and on headstone as Aug 1880, she was listed in the 1880 Census, enumerated in June 1880, with age given as 10 months and month of birth given as August. Note (5) SSDI lists death date as Apr 15 1968.
