10m 27d would put birth on Apr 25 1850, which is probably incorrect.  Age at
time of Apr 14 1877 marriage given as 26, which would be correct since his 27th
birthday was later in the month.  Daughter Winnie's death certificate states his
birthplace as Pennsylvania.
Note (4) presumably near Auburn, Ritchie Co
Note (5) The birth records of two of his children give his birthplace as Greene Co,
PA, and the 1900 Census also shows it as Pennsylvania.  But his own marriage
record states that he was born in Monongalia County, Virginia.
Note (6) Age in death record calculates to a birth date of May 25 1860.  But 1900
Census shows it as July 1860.
