Event Notes Note (1) Age 35 in the 1850 Census would put birth in about 1815. But age 55 in the 1860 Census conforms to the 1805 birth date on her headstone. Note (2) Not with family in 1870 Census. Husband's marital status was widowed at time of his 1876 remarriage. Note (3) Age 16 in her Oct 1857 marriage record would put her birth in about 1841, while age 18 in her marriage license for the same marriage puts it in about 1839, in conflict with sister Emily's birth date. Age 12 in the 1850 Census puts it in about 1838. Note (4) Birthplace reported by Findagrave as Somerset Co, Pennsylvania, and the 1850 Census also states Pennsylvania. But her marriage record shows it as Marion County (presumably West Virginia). Note (5) Birth date given in 1900 Census as July 1844. But her death record states Sep 22 1844.
